In June 2008 Napier hit 152 not out off 58 balls against Sussex at Chelmsford in the Twenty20 Cup; the highest score in English domestic T20 cricket and the most sixes (16) in a T20 innings. Three years later, in May 2011, Napier’s third Championship century saw him strike 16 sixes in his 196 off 130 balls against Surrey at Guildford equalling the record for sixes hit in a first-class innings.
